My plan was to release XNPC on the first Sunday of 2026. I'd post the first nine chapters all at once so it'd be eligible for RR's rising stars list, then do daily updates for a couple weeks before switching to a Wednesday/Saturday schedule. But I've been adding and changing so much stuff over the past couple months that it's taken me longer than I expected to get the story back to a cohesive state. Honestly it's still not fully there. There's still a whole 'nother story arc I've decided needs to be squeezed into the middle of the book that I haven't even started writing yet. As it is, I have about twenty five chapters ready to go, which is just enough to get me through the first couple weeks of daily updates. Judging by how slowly things have been going, I don't think I'll be able to get the book to a point where I won't be at risk of running out of material by next Sunday.

So...yeah, I'm postponing XNPC's release. Hopefully another month will be enough.

please don't kill me :(

I read the title and thought you were breaking up with scribble hub. Then I read the post and thought you were breaking up with scribble hub.
So at what point do I not break up with scribble hub?

Are you breaking up with scribble hub? It's okay to postpone your relationship if you need time. ? Just remember not to lead them on, and you'll be alright.
So what I'm getting out of this is... you're breaking up with me. I didn't even know you liked me that way. I guess you probably don't anymore, since we're breaking up.
