I published 7 chapters this week, but only 2 are showing up on my story page. I'm not very familiar with how the site works, so I would really appreciate your help in figuring out what's going on.

But this seems to be a mistake: the number of chapters I published doesn't match what's shown on the story page — it says 2 Chapters/Week, but I published 7. Or did I misunderstand something?

Not sure, isn't it to do with how often the stats update according to server time?
It hasn't been a week yet.

So check again in a week?

As far as I can tell, Chapters Per Week is an AVERAGE. And seems to be calculated mid-week.

It isn't a bug. As others said, the chapters per week stat is not refreshed daily, because it is chapters per week. A week needs to roll over for it to update. A week from the first time you started posting (to my understanding).

Anyway, it isn't a bug.

It calculates the average based on what you've posted in the last 4 weeks, rounded up. So if you post 4 in your first week it will say 1, but once it gets to 5-8 it will say 2, then when you hit 9 it should say 3, and so on and so forth.

To analogy, its like this DPS-CHECK punching balls in videogames.

So of course your DPS will go through the roof if you only care of the 2 first seconds, and not wait that the number stabilize/is calculated.


ps : Like i said to someone before. At least wait until ch20 or 50 to see lot of readers come to read your series. Bc everyone is tired of dropped/axed series. (unless your series is too niche or non-mainstream idea)
Even if not and it still flop (after 50+), at least you can say "i did it" like a marathon.
