Yeah maybe I should edit some things XD
Right the back story as to why the mc want to wipe the vampire is basically because they're at a war.
Mc is a part of the elf's Royal family, the princess to be exact so from little she can't do anything other than to run until her entire kingdom is enslaved and brought down to ruins, from then on she swore to wipe down the vampire kingdom that wiped and killed her kingdom.
Seeing this I think one chapter is not gonna cut it so may be I'll make it longer (10 chapter at most) also what do I mean by what's better? To be honest I don't know too but maybe it's what's more rational in that situation
Nuke my answer is a nuke but I don't think there's a nuke in mideval times XD
OK so you've got two powers, elves and vampires. The elves lost the first part of the war and got enslaved by the vampires. (As walking blood banks? As work slaves? As magically controlled thralls?)
If you want to make a short story out of it, I'd go full Spartacus on Dracula. Free the slaves, strike at the right time, be sneaky about it and culminate with a big fight where the fate of all the elves is in the hands of the princess. She won't be able to personally stake every vampire, but she can deal with a few important ones while the freed elves handle the faceless mob.
Heck, it could have been the mad plan all along! Sneak your army inside Vamp City as slaves and have a secret card (cool princess MC) to break them out during the day and wipe the undead menace out once and for all!
As for magical nukes, any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from technology*. You can make up your own world shattering ritual, or just have mages summon unstable elements from the depths of the elemental plane of Kaboom.
*Foglio's corollary to Clarke's third law. (Surprisingly not Pratchett's corollary)
