I'm over here lying face down on my bed with my legs kicking into the air because how good I think this is. It's been two whole days since it's been released, but I cannot come close to writing anything like it for the next.

I'm actually STUCK LOL.

omg I'm so happy how good it is compared to the crap when I started I just had to post this to let it out. EVEN the chapter name is so cool

It's important to enjoy what you write. You have to interact with it the most after all. The hardest part sometimes is filling that blank page. Which I should be doing now. Bye.

Oh yeah I’m probably going to delete them Cus in hindsight only like 30% of it served a purpose
That's a good move, Good on you though! Be proud of what you do and accept criticism and keep moving forward.
You've got this!
Also another tip, Sometimes self advertising even if unintentional can come off as bragging and you might attract some unsavory attention. ?

There are some folks out there with the sole intention to put you down so don't get discouraged!

I've had moments like that. Never a full chapter but... well, I had one thing published where I read a paragraph and was certain it had been written by my editor, it was so much better, well, than 90% of the rest of the text. But then I went back to my first draft and, other than one swap of a comma and a period, nothing had changed from the first draft to final copy.

Then again, two of the five horribly written parts were also traceable to my earliest drafts (of the other three, one was due to the editor preferring it over the, in my view, superior revision later, one was due to the editor just flat out disagreeing with me and rewriting it just before it went to press, and one was a mess created in layout).

By now you've read enough published writing to know what "good" is. So, if your chapter measures up, congratulations. If you want to stop and rest a bit, fine. But success is a great motivator. You've done one good chapter, so you can be confident in doing another. Get going on the next - and enjoy that one too.

Good job! Haters gonna hate. Just put on some shades, and put up a parasol. Because you know you're better than them.

This isn't saying "better than them" as in "being the better person." No, you're literally better than them on the hierarchy because they're lowly human t---. Wait, no, it was a joke!

That's not what I meant.

I guess some better context is that I don't think you needed to announce this fact in the synopsis of your story.

Some people might look at that part and be like: "so... does that mean I do or don't have to read the first ten chapters?"

You want people to read all of your story, my suggestion is to simply remove the "final note" section of your story synopsis as it's not really necessary to point it out to everyone imo.

Really? That would be awesome. I don't have much atm because of my midterms but that would be a huge help
