When I first started writing in German, I made at least 100 mistakes per 1k word chapter. Today's second chapter has only 30 mistakes according to LanguageTool! One day, I will draft cleanly!

How many mistakes do you make?

In German? None because I don't speak or write it. In English or other languages I use? Enough for grammar nazi's to send me on a train.

I usually try to catch any errors I make before moving on to the next paragraph, but a few do still slip by.

I don't edit my chaps. I just write em, look over em once and ship em. Usually 0 or 1 errors that a reader may point out.

In German I make as many mistakes as words are (mostly cuz I don't know german)

In English I make around 100 mistakes per 3k words give or take (this is mostly grammar errors)

I'm still learning german, so... none, cause I don't write in it yet. but in english, I only make like 20-40 mistakes per 2k words, according to grammarly (which I usually double check).

I know I make more than that, but I'm not counting non-issues like missing a cap at the start of a sentence.

Most of my errors in writing are not grammar. It is usually things like passive voice or verbosity.

I make many mistakes in my native language that i dont even notice. I never inherited my mother's grammar abilities
