A fictional nation of corrupt trader set in a fantasy world (karma kinda catch up to them). And MC is robbing them because the guy in charge is an ass and may or may not insult his lovers.

You need to first ask what the end goal is.

Is it a temporary riot?
Do you want to get materials that can be used as leverage against a political opponent?
Do you want to get rich?
Do you want state secrets so that you can claim to be knowledgeable?
Do you want to cold hard cash?

Why rob a card game store? What's the end goal? A realistic character does not do things without a goal. There must be a goal. What is the goal or purpose of robbing such a place? Especially since it's not on impulse and you have to ask for help from a homebreaker.

The country is burning, but a this a temporary disaster that will end then rebuilding can start? Or will the country effectively be a wasteland afterwards?
Is it limited to this country, allowing movement to an unaffected area, or are surrounding countries up to and including the world effected?
How much material can be safely transported and either used or securely stored?
How likely are you to be identified as the thief?
What reason(s) are you stealing for?
