When I was young, someone stole my beyblade and when I told the teacher, she told me to shut up.

Piling up my hatred for authorities from a young age, thanks.
As always teachers are losers when it comes to things they think aren't important

If you need someone to sew the teachers’ lips shut… I’m your gal. *ominous expression*
I also forgot to mention. I caught the punk red handed (I was the only one with said beyblade) and the teacher still took his side.

There was no other witness so the teacher said that I was a lying bastard and threatened to call my parents if I don't apologise to the "accused". I did not apologise and the teacher did not escalate the issue, but I swore that the thief was smiling as the case was dropped.

I remember my Yumburger being stolen while we're driving a minicab slowly in a market with so many people in it. Windows were open and I just laid it on the front. It was just asking to be stolen and I take fault in that.

Don't be.

Thing was long gone.

And so was my innocence.

In America we have this thing called a shotgun to stop thieves.
I'm lucky enough to live in Missouri, where we have some of the best castle doctrine laws in the world. If I so much as percieve a threat to my property, I can escalate the situation. As a result, in my neighborhood at least, theft is pretty much isolated to power tools in garages getting lifted by kids if the door is open, and even then it's rare.

A year or so ago, a well to do high school kid went to the wrong house (got a wrong address for something), went through the front door after knocking, and got killed. It was a real tragedy. The home owner wasn't so much as arrested though.

I bring that up because here, theives know they're gambling their lives if they steal from an individual. Sure, walmarts have petty theft still, etc, but full on burglary is rare, those kinds of crooks don't live long.

Thefts are considered property crimes and the police don't put high priority on those. Like if someone steals your car from your driveway and they find it, they won't chase it down unless the thief is driving unsafely. They would rather wait and get it when it shows up parked somewhere.

I've seen classmates shoplift in front of my own eyes. I wish he did not. Though a delinquent, he was a childhood friend nonetheless.

Some older folks take advantage of age to steal because they won't be having any cases most of time
-Insert bunch of CNs i read on uukanshu(R.I.P) where MC is a lawyer and punish a bunch of old men that steal / abuse their age-

Famous quote often re-used by them : "Its not that old men became bad, its simply bad people become old"

Thieves are the scum of the earth. Idc how downtrodden they are, you're stealing stuff that i bought with hard earned money.

And that's why i especially don't like those older thieves, you can clearly see a 60yrs stealing but you can't do anything because of his advance age.... even the law most of times let them scott free

Have you ever encountered a thief,i truly hate thieves because during my campus days they broke into my place stole my consoles :blob_teary: my clothes and book notes almost everything.Yesterday my apartment complex had thieves breaking around 1 am good thing there where cctv cameras, nowadays thieves have become cunning and intelligent which is very dangerous and people should live in places with good security.

What's your country law towards thieves or any crime?,where i live it dangerous being a thief because the crowd may take upon themselves to give out justice, even if you steal a chicken you might find your self serving 60 to 90yrs in prison.
Where I live, once they cross the threshold, there is no bag limit, and my guns are ready.

mostly drug users here doing the breaking and entering. if you catch one, you give them a beating and let it be. they won't have money to repay you.

see someone breaking into your mate's hovel? beat him up.
but if it's not your mate or relative that owns it, better to ignore things. for all you know it's their long lost cousin who lost his key.

and don't call the police for something so trivial. they are too expensive. if you cannot handle it, it's cheaper to call a mate.
good security is when all your neighbors are your mates.
