I want to try being a writer, but I don't know how to start practicing narration. However, if it's in the style I'm good at, for example
for the main characters I mostly use a script format, such as:

tanenter: Hey everyone.
Yamao: Hello everyone.
A moment later, Yamao started pinching tanenter's cheek.

But I feel like I'm not very good at describing scenes narration yet. I might not know the basic methods for narration. I've tried practicing normal novel-style narration, but it feels like it's still missing something.

So, if anyone has any tips, techniques, or ways to practice narration, please share them.

tanenter: That’s enough! Stop pinching my cheek right now.
Yamao: Aww, but your little kid cheeks are just so squeezable.
tanenter: We’re the same age 15 year!!
Yamao: But I'm taller than you, so that makes me look more mature than you.
tanenter: God, I hate girls like you.
Yamao: Thank You.
tanenter: Bro!!! ?
I admit at the very beginning I too had no idea what to put in the paragraph.

It was much later that I somewhat knew what to do.

Some of my babysteps came from reading through the campaign story of Heroes 4 might & magic. Then I watched movies and video game cinematics. One of the many important things I realised only when I begun my career in education is the students won't learn from the teachers they found boring. This meant no matter how many movies and game films you watch, you won't be able to learn the narration unless you find at least one character that are truly interesting in. Once you find such characters, you start trying to understand them from their behaviours, gestures to their voice tones; and you match those behaviours with their personalities and emotions. When you got these, you begin acting out these gestures and behaviours because you find these gestures and behaviours cool. This is the basis for understanding narration. First it uses your favourability to a character to establish a desire to understand. Then this desire to understand forces you to research and explore the characters' inner psyche and outer behaviours. Once this is complete up to several times (several characters), your brain starts to notice subtle behaviours and thoughts of characters as they go through a situation. This is how I would interpret my learning of narration but it's just an interpretation and not a guideline.

I think only when I got all of these that porn novels actually held any interest for me since they were chockfull of emotions and expressions.
