I discovered my specialty, I think?

I'm a fan of writing character drama and shit, but I learned pretty quickly that my specialty is actually action. That's fine cause I like writing action scenes also, especially when they've been built up for 20-50 chapters.

Editing. I'm too good at it, so I always find stuff to edit whenever I write. So I have to edit and thus I can not write.

I'm really thinking about dropping writing and taking up editing full time...

I’ve been told I’m very good at distinct character voices. Which is good when I do as much perspective jumping as I do. I’ve also been told that I’m good with the first person perspective.

Violence. Something I should actually act on as a writer. I'm not a swordsman so my capabilities fall short in that category, but I am very familiar with firearms, explosives, tactical movements, martial arts, and other sorts of combatives.

My problem is that I like writing fiction and fantasy. Converting all of that mess over into a story seems a bit... difficult.

However, as I write this very post, the gears are turning as to how I could make it all work. And honestly, I have some ideas.
