I know it's just a rumor, but it still got me wanting to read the manga from the beginning to join in the party when it ends. Used to watch it when it aired on TV but it's been so long ago I have little memory of the story.

1,058 currently. It may seem long, but once you read it, you'd wish it would be longer. Just don't watch the anime. I'm giving you good advice here. You'd be better watching a turtle race than watching the anime.
