Actually, the sketch costs only 7 CAD (I mean the first one), and the colored one is just 5 CAD.
The illustrator and the art studio are based in China, which is probably why they mainly use Instagram and work as a studio—having a translator helps a lot, lol.

I don't go around keeping track of every scammer I come across with me lol. I doubt anyone does. But those arts you posted, I'm 100% sure it's a scammer. I think there’s a misunderstanding, so I’ll clarify clearly.

Yes, I commissioned these artworks. Some of them are still work in progress, which is completely normal for commissioned art.

By “making my character more visual,” I mean commissioning character illustrations and references for my original character. Many writers do this to better visualize their characters and sometimes share them with readers — it doesn’t mean I randomly put them into the book.

I am not the artist. I’m the author, and the artworks are made by my illustrator. I have the full process files for each piece.
