Hi guys, I was looking for novels with a genre that I really liked. For example: "let go of that witch." If you did not see it, it is a mechanical engineer who transports himself to a world of the Middle Ages and makes use of his knowledge, the truth that I liked it too much, but I do not find anything similar, except the novel "how realistic hero reconstructed the kingdom ".

I recently saw a novel called "Forging Beastmen", I loved the plot, but it has few chapters, and I'm a little impatient.
In case they did not see it, its description is:
"Does our team peacefully leave and wake up in the body of a beastman?
Enslaved, hunted, and scattered, how will you save the beast race and bring them to glory? "

If there is someone who knows a similar novel, I hope they help me out.

‘Release that witch’ is a good novel. It’s not on this platform and can be read at boxnovel or NovelFull. It should fit your bill

I loved Release the Witch, one of my favorites except for the romance subplot and the ending, which I found disappointing.

My novel is about empire building, but it isn't like those where the protagonist uses technological knowledge to have an advantage, it's more focused on the social aspect (changing the government, laws, etc., but letting the people develop it further). My protagonist isn't knowledgeable in technology development, making the introduction of modern tools slow and with a drop in quality; for example, she asks for toilet paper to be developed and the result barely works. There's also the technological advantage, in RTW the protagonist can release his modern tools because he has a better version, something that can't happen in my novel cause there isn't a better version.

So my protagonist will make use of what already exist, magic, and the concept behind our modern tools and systems to develop her own (like mobile phones made with magic). I still have some more chapters to write to finish arc one and get into the kingdom building aspect, so currently it doesn't solve your problem, but I hope you consider checking it out in the future. It's called I won't destroy the world!

That's the one he's talking about. He just wrote it different, "let go of that witch".

"Enlightened Empire" on RoyalRoad fits that bill. Dunno if I can post links here, so I won't.

Also, my story has kingdom building, but it doesn't fit the modern tech checkbox. It's also in the early stages of release.

If you are willing to give it a try anyway, here it is:

I'd suggest Goblin Kingdom. It's a pretty cool novel and has a lot of chapters out already. The characters, all of them, are fun to read about and the transition from the lowly tribe of goblins to a fully realized kingdom is well done in my opinion.
Summary:
With a hideous visage they came to be known as goblins.

Hunted day after day, trampled, and crushed, these creatures lived with no other lot than to be killed.

But all that changed when the king was born.

Because it is frankly bullshit. Technology and society evolved the way they did because of reasons. Much modern technology is useless in the medieval as many key technologies haven't evolved yet and socio-economical structure didn't allow considerable progress.

The fact that characters introduce modern concepts is more a sign of their stupidity rather than their intelligence.

Why do you start with "because"? Is the first part of your post missing?

Why not? Who says I can't start a sentence with because, glorious Moctemma? The Oxford dictionary?

Referring to him and the entire introduce technology as whole genre.

I asked because it honestly didn't make sense, it seemed as if you were so triggered by him asking for such novels that you couldn't convey your message properly.

"You don't find a similar novel because..." This isn't ambiguous, making it clear to whom you're talking to and what you're talking about.

Also, have you read Release the Witch? Do you know what he's searching for, or are you just throwing your hate to a type of novel you don't even read? I ask because that's the impression I have. It would be helpful if you share which novel(s) made you think like that and why, so he (and us who like such novels) can avoid a bad experience.

Nope, I haven't read it. But if you have seen one, you have seen all and you can tell already by the synopsis. You don't need to read stories, you just need historical knowledge to perceive that the concept is deeply flawed a priori, even when much hand waving does usually the job.

Alright, these threads are for people to recommend stories in regards to what the OPs are seeking. So if you don't actually have any stories to suggest that fit the requirement then please don't sideline the thread's purpose.

Tsss, I see, the - quasi or official? - moderator has spoken.

Anyway, as far as kingdom building goes, I can recommend this. No idea where the novel went lately, but it has certainly its strength when it comes to management and such things with an atypical setting, but you most likely know it already. :blob_reach:

Rise of the Lord.

However it's less traditional kingdom-building and more political intrigue as MC's super power is the ability to scheme. :blob_sir:

Well my novel 'The Human Saint is Bored, so I was Summoned to Another World' fits the 'modern knowledge' bill, though it would come out in the later volumes (2nd to 5th).
