Staring into his eye, it was easy to become sucked in. The sclera cracked as the iris was pulled into the depths of his pupil, stretching the colors the deeper they went. A spectrum of colors, starting in a familiar blue and down to a crimson, it took you on a journey into the blackness. Once there, you were trapped, seeing out from with his soul, looking back on yourself.

'Her eyes were scary. Tom went and hid under the bed, but her eyes burned through the mattress and into his lizard skin, piercing his bones. He got the mirror and angled it. After some excruciating bone-piercing and slightly leaky moments, she died, her own lasers backfiring into her brain. The End.'

Tryhard:
The man stepped forward, his eyes meeting mine in an intense match to see who would give in first. His eyes on first glance was nothing new. A harsh dark blue and nothing more. However, when he stood so close I could feel his breath touch my neck, there was much more complexity to be seen in those eyes that saw destiny. A pink flower like shape surrounded his pupils making it look as if there were blossoms sprouting from his eyes in an explosive fury. The more my gaze spun inward toward his pupils, the redder the flower of his eyes became until it reached the black void of his eyes. Eyelash hairs stuck out almost at random, looking more akin to thorns on a rosebush than individual strands of black hair.

How I would describe it normally:
His eyes were pretty.

My take on this whole images thing: My favorite part of making descriptions is purposely leaving aspects vague so the reader can paint their own picture; oftentimes, the image they think of will be more beautiful than anything I can describe in detail.

To put it simply: Don't try to paint a picture for your readers; supply the paint and brush for them to draw their own. That's just my opinion though; I guess there are "people" out there who literally have no imagination, so idk.
