Like argument on Twitter....
This has a historical basis in reality. It's not the Gods that fight, it's the followers that do the fighting.Fights between Gods are done by their followers drawing their God as the Chad and the other one as the Soyjack.
ah yes, thats right. Sorry, i been falling asleep to Comics Explained alot these days and mistook the marvel for DC. Mavel usually has a more fleshed out universe than DC so i sometimes confuse them. Honestly i cant even recall a conceptual cosmic entity from DC...maybe the lords of order and chaos but others i cant recall. Thanks for correcting me, i appreciate itMar-Vell (MARVEL's first Captain Marvel, but the third character with that name to see print) and the Cancerverse are Marvel not DC.
Both companies have Death usually appear as a woman (a cute goth chick in Vertigo/DC, and a beautiful woman that the person she is manifesting to knows ... or the traditional Grim Reaper, but not the character Grim Reaper as he's neither a woman nor beautiful.... and the character of Lady Death belongs to an indie publisher - she's a blue-white skinned beautiful woman)
Darkseid is the big one in DC. They also have a bunch of unnamed demons and devils, as well as Neron (the architect of the Underworld crossover event... which felt a lot like a more focused version of Marvel's Inferno), The Endless (Death, Destiny, Dream, Destruction, Desire, and ... the one who used to be Delight but went crazy, blanking on her current name), the First of the Fallen, Lucifer, and Kirby's New Gods (Orion, Metron, Beautiful Dreamer, Black Racer, etc.)ah yes, thats right. oh yeah i remember watching the sandman series a while ago, was pretty interesting. Do the emotional spectrum entities count? Like Paralax and such? Darkeid never felt lie a god, tho. Not him or the other "gods" like him really. Powerful yeah, but hardly able to twist the universe to their whim from what i recal. That omega beam is broken tho i admitDarkseid is the big one in DC. That is a good question and one I do not have an answer to.oh yeah i remember watching the sandman series a while ago, was pretty interesting. Do the emotional spectrum entities count? Like Paralax and such?
The version of Darkseid on Apokalips is an avatar of a God of Destruction (something I think hinted at in The Great Darkness Saga in Legion of Superheroes but not really clarified until the early 2000s).Darkeid never felt lie a god, tho. "Well my domain means I can do this"So the main question is how do they determine who wins in a fight? Does it just devolve into a meaningless slugfest?
well unless a character can warp reality, concepts or control matter on the atomic scale i suppose i wouldnt consider them gods. But its interesting just to have these characters who are so powerful they can dominate most races. godlike enough, eh?That is a good question and one I do not have an answer to.

And the one of the Endless I couldn't remember is Delirium.
