ok so i wanna make smut but in order to make them you need tension so your readers are just not reading unholy text and instead feeling the unholiness you were feeling when you were thinking of it. AND to know whats next and not make it predictable cause their too busy reading unholy text. I know that much.

But how the HECK do you make tension in text?? I dont have the tag of smut on my book yet and i've made smut on wattpad but their very predictable. ANYWAYS heres my novel for a plug: https://www.scribblehub.com/series/714503/my-lovely-akira/

Ps: dont take it too seriously

I have a lot of tension, just not in my story. I'm about to write my first sex scene, as it happens I have a background in porn filming and scriptwriting. So yeah, build up to the sex, if you can't do such make sure the foreplay is good. BTW the foreplay is advice fore real life too

One, why does smut need tension?
Two, Why is smut unholy?
Three, Why is predictable bad?
Four, what do you mean, how do you make tension in text?

That last one, do you really not know how to build tension? I guess I'm wondering if you even know what tension is, or what writing is for that matter.

Make the reader care about the MC. The MC is eating at a dinner table. You tell the reader there is a bomb under the table. You then describe the dining experience as you indicate that at any moment the bomb may explode.

Will the MC discover the bomb before it explodes?
What would the MC do if he does?
What would happen if the bomb does explode?
How will the MC survive?

There. Tension.

Tension, by its definition, is usually something predictable that you know in advance. Bombs explode. That's bad. I predict something bad will happen when the bomb explodes. The Reader knows about the bomb and doesn't want the MC to die because they care. The PREDICTABLE thing is that the MC survives. Would you want to be unpredictable and kill your MC off?

I'm... very confused by your post in general. Did you think out your question? Maybe rephrase.
