how to wake up sleeping limb

my legs pinned by my dogs and when they inevitably bolt off to yodel at a passing ghost fart I'm going to need to be able to move fast so does anyone have advice towards shaking off pins n needles in the limbs

Perfect hobbling and/or hopping.

I position myself so that the muscles are strained, and then I put my weight on the limb. Eventually, it shakes like a cracked out child. Best way to get the blood flowing.
