Any reputable way to use AI online for free without the pictures looking like a glorbbed mess as my laptop is straight potato that doesn't even have a gpu

I've been wondering how most authors get the cover art for their novels for free. I'm not too far into the novel I've started trying to take it more seriously so I don't want to spend any of the little clams (money) I got. I'm fine with ai or anything like that, any help is appreciated

Stable diffusion is free but you need to have a good gpu, getting a model and train it. This is the best way

The alternative(if you want a good one) is to commission an artist.

If you want average at best and somewhat good looking, midjourney or dall-e

Both of those require money (10 dlls and 20 dlls respectively)

Use bing image creator. Insert description. Hit create button 40 times. Have 120 samples. Sort out the bad ones. Keep the good ones. Then play contest and take the best.
