I like how everyone here sounds like an expert on yanderes. Looks like they've been kept in the basement for too long without a voice :blob_popcorn:

You could try the void wolf approach, where the mc and FL are both yandere for each other it a brutal and dark world,They literally didn't beat around the bush, got married like 2 months after they met, both are not human, and their race a more ruthless and brutal,
Goddamn shame author went hiatus on the sequel last year. Shame too, I had been about join his patreon.

I've already told this story here before, but every girl I've ever dated (3), turned out to be yandere-ish. First one we dated for several years, blonde blue eyes beauty. Amateur model from Seattle. I had only met her by accident when I lived in Brooklyn. She was supposed to catch a flight back west and ended up missing her flight and we literally met outside the airport bathrooms. Felt like destiny you know that we met in such a random circumstance that shouldn't have happened since she wasn't even supposed to be there. We'll call her Haleigh.

Welp we dated for 3 and a half years. At one point we made a mutual friend with this Hispanic girl. Supposedly Spaniard but I don't really know what she was. Wasn't really anything we talked about. We'll call her Marisa. Well, she was gorgeous too, and I didn't know it at the time, but she was in love with me as well. I'm strictly monogamous. Im a jealous person at time and so I make it known that I will not share. Well, my girlfriend convinced me to try a threesome with our mutual friend. I admit, it was wonderful. Likely the best night of sex I've ever had and likely ever will.

Anyway, one thing led to another, and my girlfriend managed to convince me to date them both. So she moved in into my apartment with me and my girlfriend. It was nice for about a month. It was a kind of three-way dating or something. Then idk what the fuck happened. In the end, they were drawing knives on each other, then on me, both demanding I choose one of them and both threatening to kill me if I don't choose them. I choose neither. Im not ashamed to say I had to physically attack and hurt them both because I feared for my life, them armed and me not. Was no fucking time for chivalry.

Anyway, both were removed from my apartment by police eventually and I was cleared if any potential charges. Haleigh committed suicide after trying and failing to get me to take her back and Marisa moved to Spain, both within three months of our split.

The 3rd and last woman I dated, we lasted 10 months. She was 7 years older than me and she was self-conscious of that but I didn't mind. Let's call her Lacie She tried to shoot one of my female cousins dead because she thought I was cheating in her with another woman. That one ended poorly too, but I had already noticed she was extremely unnerving at times and was already having reservations about the relationship. Anyway, she's serving 15 years for attempted murder.

It's been 6 years and I'm terrified of dating again because I've attracted beautiful (to me anyway), but fucking crazy women and so haven't dated since. Not sure I ever will.

Okay, I am very very thankful for every graduates from the Weeb Academy or Writing Academy who answered my question. I knew it was useful to study yanderism. Anyway, thanks. I'll just start writing my novel after preparing the yandere. :blob_okay:

Fuck, this can be another novel plot. But to be serious, that really looks like a fucked up situation.

Nah. The Lacie one is up for parole next year and I'm nervous as fuck about that. She was originally eligible this year but with all this Corona shit going, prisons are letting out ALL of those with lesser crimes like theft, larceny, drug charges, and I ever heard of a few who were arrested for simple arson-related stuff, so they have room to spread out those for heavier crimes like Lacie. The prisons version of social distancing is to have a single empty cell between each occupied one. And with all that administrative nonsense happening, her parole kinda fell by the wayside until next year.

She shouldnt he getting fucking parole. If she gets out next year, she'll have only served 8 of those 15, and I'm having a hard time not believing it isn't because of her gender and so-called "good behavior". I knew several people in the past, all men, who were incarcerated for something similar and they all did the WHOLE sentence. No chance of parole. I also think they might be looking for reasons to let a few of their better behaved cell residents out anyway to make more room for their social distancing bullshit.

I've already started preparing paperwork for a restraining order but idk, since when do crazy people care about the law? They typically don't in my experience.

Step 1: Your best friend (lesbian in this case) gets engaged to a yandere.
Step 2: Your best friend and her fiancee stay at your place the night before your 10-year high school reunion.
Step 3: Yandere makes up some excuse to go home early so you don't get to hang out with your best friend the next day.
Step 4: You don't realize your best friend's fiancee is a yandere until you ask your best friend to be your maid of honor.
Step 5: The yandere sends you nasty messages on Facebook.
Step 6: You ask friends and family for help.
Step 7: Friends and family tell you not to respond to yandere's messages, so you just don't say anything at all.
Step 8: Yandere blocks you on Facebook, and your best friend unfriends you.
Step 9: You keep watching both the Yandere and your best friend through your pen name account.
Step 10: You wait and pray, but try not to dwell on it too much since you're getting married soon.
Step 11: You have a wonderful wedding, and another friend flies halfway around the world to be your maid of honor.
Step 12: You see wedding photos of your best friend and the yandere. It's a small courthouse deal. You feel a little smug that your wedding was better than theirs.
Step 13: It looks like things are going poorly in your best friend's marriage. Your best friend posts this song as a cry for help:
Step 14: You ask your mom to reach out and talk to your best friend since your mom and best friend are still Facebook friends.
Step 15: Mom and best friend have a long phone call.
Step 16: Mom reminds your best friend that you still care.
Step 17: Mom tells you that the yandere has dissociative identity disorder and probably bipolar disorder too.
Step 18: Your best friend finally decides to call you and spills all the horrifying details.
Step 19: Your best friend gets exhausted trying to make the marriage work.
Step 20: Local laws mean your best friend can't file for divorce for a whole year.
Step 21: Your best friend goes back and forth about trying to make the marriage work.
Step 22: Your best friend finally gets to file the divorce papers.
Step 23: The pandemic starts.
Step 24: You have a video chat with your best friend and find out she's happy in a throuple now, but she can't see her girlfriends for a while due to the pandemic.

Lesson: Yanderes are real, and they are a nightmare.

(1) Pick a type of yandere you are interested in or perhaps a type that you can fit into your story well. Yandere is just a general term, so we need to choose something to make it more concrete.

I have placed a funny Yandere chart in the spoiler with the website link that describes many different types of Yandere.

(2) Try to explain why they have turned into a Yandere and developed various bizarre rituals, insecurities, and obsessions. Make backstory serve your purposes. I really understand this from experience after all. I didn't become all messed up for no reason and suddenly start walking around saying, "I shall become a splendid villainess!" It took time and various events to warp me into the current despicable incarnation that I am.

Much has already been said so I'm just going to add this...

Yanderes are fun in fiction, but they don't in real life.

Edit: I survived a L̶o̶l̶i̶ Yandere. ?

So like the plot of that Danish movie, The Hunt, directed by Thomas Vinterberg. Honestly, going into a profession where you have to deal with kids is like traversing a minefield. I'd rather be a nameless soldier rushing machine guns on D-day rather than work in a daycare center.

Well, it's part of our job...

Good thing our police here could be reasoned out with. And I have my evidences that I'm the victim.
