If a story that I am really interested in has less than 100k words, I will wait until it reaches 100k words before reading. Even if it never happens or takes a year or two. If I come across pointless melodrama in a series I otherwise like, there is a 90%+ chance I drop it then and there. Even if it is the best thing put to writing, I am highly unlikely to read a fanfic, unless that tag is not present and I don’t catch it is one. In which case there is a 80% chance I drop it when I do, assuming I already hadn’t. Using a screen reader is way better than not. You?

I dislike murim marital art novels, I don't know why I am like this, I don't hate marital arts IRL nor do I have any negative memories about it.

And I very much know I am missing out a lot of gems of story, but the moment I see the 'Heavenly sword demon' or 'Murim' I am out and again I don't why I am like this.

Same thing about VR gaming stuff.

I also dislike it when Authors drip down nationalism and IRL politics into novel, it's really a turn off for me, best example is 'novels extra'

Its a great novel, but goddamn the author went up and beyond to make Korea a super duper ultra pro Max country

As long as the story doesn't have too much drama, and the author doesn't drag the fuck out of the story, I'm fine with anything.

Depends. I'm usually a bit flexible, but there are some tags I stay away from.

Example of flex would be harem. I think it's trash, but when I got nothing else to read, it's an option.

Where as forced sexual relations and mind control is a hard no.

Then there's some tags I consider having a scale. So there's points where it's ok, and points where it's not.

An example is incest. In laws and cousins are ok. Aunts, uncles, siblings and parents aren't ok.

Usually, if a story is good enough to read that I get past chapter 1, then I trust the author enough to lead me all the way through.

Agreed, I would also add glorifying slavery.

Answering question, I am not stubborn at all. I will read anything and everything as long as I am entertained. I really don't like systems, but there are a couple works with systems that I like. On a flip side, I will drop anything and everything as soon as I get bored.

Really? I thought there were quite good murim novels and manhwa's
Not really. They're very similar, so once you read the most popular one or two it's all down hill. As pretty much all the drama and villainy is centered around elites trying to stay elite by eliminating the competition.

Try nano machine you might just like it. Don't read synopsis, just dive into the first chapter. It is a manhua not novel though.

90% of things that have a webnovel sounding name I won't even give a try. I was proven this was the right course of action when I finally tried to read that time I got reincarnated as a slime. But when I do start reading something, I give it plenty of chances before I fully drop it. I absolutely hated the first part of tokyo ghoul, but when I finally finished it and got to re, I actually started to enjoy it. But the thing I actually will not give a single chance is fanfiction. (actually that's a lie, if an irl friend recommended me a fanfiction and said it was actually good, I'd at least try it. But I would be much quicker to judge it than normal.)

Tokyo Ghoul’s manga is pretty good.

My reading preferences stalk the void lurking in moist places where plants have forgotten the touch of sunlight.

So my answer is, Very Stubborn.
