How often do you check your story’s stats?

Not that often. I used to refresh pages waiting for comments and stuff. Now, I don't really do that.

Its like CHECKING THE CLOCK in classroom.

The more you do, the more you regret.
So advice : Stop doing it


Also the more you look, the more you will focus on it. And the more you will fixate on it.
The more you fixate on it, the more it will stick in your mind.
The more it stick in your mind, the more you will care.
The more you will care, the more it will hurt you. (especially if you arent being a big successful series)

Also it reminds me of CNs, where poor MCs keep checking empty bank account.
But when there is a lot = "just a string of numbers"
Its like grinding currency in games, when it turns big, there isnt any fun despite clearly your goal.

Normally whenever I upload, meaning thrice a week. Some times if my mental health is in a poor state I check constantly.

Far too often. Even to the point of absurdity. Sometimes several times in a day even though I rarely get even a single more view in that timeframe.

Maybe once a week or so? I don't really keep track of how often I check stats. I do try to check for new comments at least once a day, since I've made a policy of responding to every comment. I'm not really bothered if I don't have a new comment notif, though, possibly because I can be sure of getting at least a few comments whenever I post a new chapter. Being sure of that engagement makes the numbers matter a lot less to me.

Highly variable; basically am I being twitchy and clicking on things because I need some stimulation. So I may go days or weeks without looking, and then check three days in a row or what ever.

Initially two to three times a day. Now? The day after I post a new chapter or whenever someone asks a general question about them.
Which comes out to about once a week for everything and usually another time that week for each story individually.

Usually check a few hours after I post a chapter. So that means roughly every 2 days, at least on here. Do it more for Royal Road since I have more engagement on there.

Way more often than I should. ? Sometimes I tell myself I’ll just check once a day… then I catch myself refreshing like five times in an hour.
