I first posted my story on Tapas, then Royal Road, and then ScribbleHub a few weeks later. My story on Royal Road now has more views than any other site, despite me doing virtually no promotion there. I just posted my story to Webnovel today, and it has already surpassed ScribbleHub in views. If the momentum on Webnovel continues, it'll have the highest view count in no time.
Order of current views is:
1. Royalroad
2. Tapas
3. Webnovel
4. Scribblehub

SH, RR, Honey Moon, Purrfiction, AO3, and local site

Important note: Placing your novel on multiple sites not only serves as an archive but if you are lucky, Google will even recognize your fictional characters as long as your fictional character names are unique and consistent for SEO.

All my stories are only on one site each. I have enough problems with trying to sort out getting them updated on what they're on to bother trying with multiple.

I have 2 on here, a multitude on AO3, and a few random unfinished ones still floating around Fictionpress. The only one that I actively tried to do on multiple sites would have been SfAL, which I usually try to post the chapter on Tumblr (or used to, anyway; I haven't updated since I started work) and very briefly on Wattpad. Wattpad's UI just made me die inside every time I loaded it up so I gave up after about 10ish chapters.

ScribbleHub, RoyalRoad, Tapas, and Patreon.

Fixing typos and making edits requires editing the story in five different locations (Including GoogleDocs) - I can't imagine how people cope when they're published on 8+ sites like some members here :sweat_smile:

1) Scribblehub.
2)Tapas.
3)Inkspired.
4)Fictograma (spanish version).
5)nightscribe (my horror stuff including shorts)

Used to be on RR, the found out they are assholes so I left. And another web called Inkkit, but those have a super anoying AI that bans everything except bots and scammers.
8 so far and more on the way.
I dont think I will put my stuff in more sites. If your work got no traction here, it probably wont have traction in other webs. Unless is a very specific genre oriented web. For example: nightscribe is exlusive for horror and specially shorts, used to be a creepypasta site.

Three, Webnovel, Scribblehub, and Royal Road, they are honestly the only pages that have any audience to begin with.
If we count Patreon, I guess four.

I never said I never got traction there. Some, yes. However, I have sold more copies of my book because of posting on these sites so it isn't a total loss. I do intend to make a video series based on my experience with these sites.

Nice, my books are published in spanish so... except for the machiavellian knight... but that is full of errors. The publisher scammed me with the "profesional edition" 2500e down the toilet. And too late I learned that they just ran it through the "first" iteration of AI becouse the crap is Full of those damned-every-fucking-were.

My main story, Villainess, Retry!, is on ScribbleHub, Royal Road (volume 1), and Wattpad (volume 1). From least to most, VR! has:

0.29k views on Wattpad (no surprise there; Wattpad is a ghost town);
33k views on Royal Road (which is surprising, since I don't advertise there anymore);
51.9k views on ScribbleHub (b/c it's where I'm most active on).

Currently only Royal Road, though I plan to eventually upload it here as well. Probably after book 1 is complete. The thing is, only uploading on one site first is useful because it means you can address reader feedback/concerns before you upload it elsewhere. Royal road is like 'ground zero' for my story lol.

And wow! I wasn't expecting people to have their stories on so many places. I thought most of these sites had rules against posting it elsewhere except only for certain ones e.g. Royal Road.
All my stories are only on one site each. I have enough problems with trying to sort out getting them updated on what they're on to bother trying with multiple.
This isn't an issue if you just finish a story/book/act/whatever on one platform, and then re-upload it all at once on another once you're 100% certain there won't be any further edits to that portion of the story.

RR, Webnovel, Wattpad, and here. Though RR is the only one I have high engagement from. Webnovel I have the most views but that's it, Wattpad looks like it has a lot of engagement but most of the "readers" are "artists" wanting me to commission them, then there is here, which I have over 30 readers, but no one who comments and stuff. Royal Road I'm nearing 50 followers and have a couple commenters who regularly comment.

SH, discontinued on wattpad. And thinking to get the revised version on moonquill. (Would love some recommendations too)

Royal Road never did me a good favour. It just disappear from latest updates in a minute? and there is basically no other visibility option.

Inkitt, Wattpad, Royal Road, Scribblehub, Webnovel, Quotev, AO3, and just now Purrfiction.

I've tried Tapas but I think there was some parameter that didn't work for me like word count or something.
