How many chapters does your first 20,000 words take up?

I was wondering if I was not writing a bit too much sometimes because all the webnovels I've read recently had plenty of chapters released but all with small words counts between 1,500 and 2,000 words

This is done on purpose. Chapters of this length are a sweet spot as page turners. They're not too long but long enough to write something substantial. Also, with that word count an author can edit and publish them faster.
