How long does a shadow ban usually last? (and what does it do anyhow?)

I've been reported recently despite (as far as I'm aware) my story not breaking rules I'm not even really sure what the shadow ban means in the long run, I've noticed my reader count isn't going up lately even though I uploaded a new chapter less than a week ago so is that story frozen forever at 1.1k here? Damn...Is this gonna effect any other stories I upload? Like is my account in general screwed over now?

It's very odd that your story isn't visible in your profile but via direct link accessible. Only Tony can solve this, appeal to him. Probably under review because of the report and therefore temp not visible?

I have no clue whatsoever, but it sounds like something permanent until lifted through Tony, doesn't it? Have you tried contacting him?

Email never got me anywhere, I never did get any response.
I annoyed everyone prime whining in the site threads.

Don’t know why it is shadow banned, maybe the disclaimer in the description? I would appeal the decision by using the contact us email, last time I had an issue like that, it took 2 weeks and 5 emails from me to get any news on what happened. Nonetheless I did successfullyish run a story that was not approved due to it ‘not being a story’. I think the only thing that kept it alive as I was writing was promoting it here.

Hmm, I'll try deleting that from the description then (although the disclaimer will still apply) the tags will have to be warning enough that NeaNight will be about upsetting topics/have upsetting scenes and to remember none of the characters and situations are real. Not everything has to be squeaky clean and family friendly, least of all a horror story.

Freak it, I'm just gonna delete and slowly reupload the novel, I'm not gonna wait another two weeks only to receive dead silence when I could be getting new eyes on my work! It's gonna be annoying having to restart here from the beginning but better than staying frozen forever :P
