How long do you wait for comments?

Comments? Doesn't matter to me since I enjoy writing my work. Getting acknowledgement is fine and dandy, but in the end, my primary motivation is my personal satisfaction.

The only person that comments in my stories is my friend, who is DominitaHollow.

The person who comments on fics seems to be a "sniper." I say this because the instant I post they're waiting in the wings to write a comment not even 20 minutes. I ain't complaining, I genuinely appreciate when people do that. Let's you know people are interested

people tend to comment on my post as soon as I upload it. I wrote 1 fic and 1 original novel, but both had good traffic of comments. I never waited for comment and keep my SH tab open. As soon as there is a notification I will check it, replying to a comment is a good manner if you want to keep your readers entertained. And if your readers asked you the future plan of your novel, tell them to inbox you. Just a suggestion, if you got a lot of comment, the traffic on your novel will increase because most of the readers love interracting with author.
