Took me right about six days too! Then it was 4 more days for 2k and now 2 days after that its at 2.8, so the growth is definitely exponential. Though I guess since mine is smut that changes things and how people approach it.

I'm new too, but afaik, I think Trending is based on when works have a view spike or something like that. Someone else will have to clarify that one.

There is probably a minimum number of days your work needs to be out to get on the Trending lists. Mine hit trending on exactly the 45th day but not a day sooner when it really didn't reach any other kind of threshold.

Between Worlds took six months (currently at 1.4k).
Nothing else has passed 700. I started posting here in what, May of 2024 I think.

Just about a week seems like a fairly reliable metric, just going by the handy dandy charts Scribblehub gives. As you write more stories it happens quicker because you're getting a built-in audience. My latest got there a lot quicker than my first.

As far as trending, you'll drive yourself nuts trying to work out how to get on there. I speak from experience. Just keep writing!

Dependent on which type of story are we talking about. I have one that barely got above 1k because it is not a popular genre. I have one that did it in the first day.

It is all about what is popular and what isn't.

The important number is how many readers your book gets.
Views don't mean much as they can accumulate easily by a single reader. If you have 50 chapters, one reader can give you 50 views.

That's why I don't care how quickly I got 1K.

My roommate RecklessDawn I believe hit it by chapter 3. I remember because he slammed into my bedroom as things were getting interesting between me and my fiance.
