I always wonder this, as I often keep my characters in the split.

Most of my characters are on the "don't think about it" group, as most people are. Some characters, such as a villainess person, I might make fearful or angered at their own possible demise. Others I make accepting, often the ones with age, or have experience death before, or at least train in a art of death.

My MC is fearful + rejecting of it when it comes to himself, but he’s enough of a hypocrite to freely murder others

First protagonist doesn't think or cares about his death while my second one denies even the notion of anything but old age killing her

probably horny since she's immortal and she can turn the reaper into a cute girl.

for the others they're more afraid on what could potentially kill them or threaten their lives.

Peacefully in his sleep.
Unlike his hundred-odd screaming passengers.

...
But seriously, considering how many times he's died, he's kinda blase about it at this point.
