Most people always write summary and conclusion when writing the lessons in the book or when the teacher said something. It's people nature is to take only the useful and inportant bits to make things convenient.

I'm different, I take the words as it was written with no effort in simplifying or making it more word effective. It's exact 1:1 and in worst case scenario, I even add more filler content or something.

As you can see in this writing, my simple point that can be written by just one paragraph is being written for about five paragraph long.

The details and inprotant bit is guaranteed to not be physically lost, as the words is still there. but, the details might as well considered being lost after being drowned with the words I wrote.

That's why I hate myself for being like this.

I start every chapter with an all-caps cuss word and try to puzzle out what's to do based off my characters and last chapter's interactions, sometimes making a note of it in the sidebar before starting the chapter itself

Fair. My fear with doing that is writing something later that contradicts something I wrote earlier. Is that something you ever worry about and how do you get past it?
I do go back to check. But do you mean I think of something cool later but can't implement it because of what I've already written? In that case, I just note that down and hope to put that in a rewrite into an actual book someday. I consider my webnovels as drafts anyway so it's less pressure.

With my current novel, I post as I write only because I am not terribly interested in success. It's a project to keep me away from mind-numbing drugs.
I think this site is for people who enjoy their writing. Most ambitious people focus their efforts elsewhere.

I finish the entire first draft, edit it ruthlessly, and then post it a chapter at a time after that. I never quite know where a story is going to go when I start it, and this is the only way to make sure that it's consistent all the way through. I deeply regret that I released the first volume of a project I thought no one would read, only to have it be one of my more popular ones, and other projects are distracting me from finishing it. I will not be doing that again! If I tried doing one chapter at a time, my work wouldn't be worth reading, it would be such a mess. While one is being released, I'm working on the next one. There may be a bit of a gap between projects, but I'd rather do that than release anything I'm not happy with. I respect the time of my readers and want to give them the best I can.

I write by first making a draft that I'm going to include in the new chapter.
The draft will be "what will be happening in this chapter and how does it connect with the previous chapter".
When I'm done with the draft, I add in details. Description, feelings, dialogues.
I tend to not put in details that will not add any progression to the story or a better understanding on the character's personality.
But details such as environments are added so the readers can understand better the environment the character is in.

I then try to end the chapter on a cliffhanger if possible.

Once done with all that, it's time for editing. I read through it over and over to spot any grammar mistake and the story flow.
If I feel it's congested, I change it until I feel like it's natural and has better flow.

And then I publish it and start with a new draft for the next chapter.

I'm working on two things at once, and trade off between them in rotation. As each chapter is completed, it goes on Patreon for a week, and the one that has been on Patreon already for a week gets posted to Scribblehub. In between these things I work on my non-serial novels.
