How do you grow an audience?

Have you tried German suplexing them into a pot and watering them every now and then? What works with nature should work with viewers, right?

Social media engagement, supplement materials like art or a community. Or a mix of all of it.

I have asked myself the same thing. I am on 2 other platforms besides this one, and while I have a couple of followers and reviews on those, I can’t seem to get traction on any one site. I’ve learned it isn’t a reflection on me or my story. Some people may not be looking for the style of writing I do. Or they are and they are just the quiet majority. Consistently posting and hyping yourself up on socials can help. Being a part of the community can also gain attention. Like leaving comments on other’s stories or reviews. I’m bad for this, as I never read and write at the same time ? So I have a huge backlog of things I want to read from other people, but I’m constantly writing my own stories.
