How do you come up with funny stuff for your story?

I don't know how much you know about literature theory.

But in terms of how to create comedy, I would recommend Pirandello and his humorism theory. His comedy was not funny, it was tragic.

Or Dürrenmatt. A Swiss author that is the inventor of the modern tragicomedy as the sole response to the conditions of our bleak existence in a world where all values have lost their worth, destined to fade.

My characters are both lolis and they can still even when the world burns around them. So I can't see why I should degenerate gaylolis. It is just the natural of human nature. The tragicomedy is path of choice in our time.

For me, the low point of moral degeneration is reached when to spike newly-born babies on your bayonets to pose for a nice shot. Or when you use bayonets as dildos to rape a woman whose son you have forced to rape her before and shot before her eyes.

I like writing comedy to some extent, but mostly on one shots... Just make them feel natural I guess? It always worked for me! >.<

so it's kinda like absurdist fiction :D

i did have some inspirations from vonnegut, calvino, and kafka.

might check them out when i have the time.

Ah, I see. ^^ I was just curious how someone knew Calvino. Outside of Italy, he isn't particularly well-known. But to get back to the topic, you coniser Kafka comedy? What is wrong with you?

yeah he read all kinds of stuff :D

i mean as in absurdist fiction. the same reader said that kafka's ideas can be pretty comedic in nature, like the one in metamorphosis (the mc becomes a giant cockroach and troll people).

but yeah, since comedic can be pretty subjective, i guess kafka wrote comedy--for a certain minority.

Well, I wouldn't say so. If you say that the metamorphosis are funny, then you have clearly not have understood the message. It is a very sad story like all of kafkas. Kafka is no laughing matter. But I suppose his stories look funny to the outsider.

the metamorphosis did make me cry when i first read it, but it can be pretty funny, if you look at it like a nihilist. though yeah, i didn't particularly read stories to feel sad or depressed. i mostly just laugh at everything, if i could.
