As some others have said, I guess throw as many tags in possible.

Personally? I think throwing childcare in or familiars in is always a good way to help. Both are pretty popular, and I know half the time, I come for the familiar/kid, and may stay for the story.

That's just me personally, and I'm not the type to read academy stories, so maybe my input doesn't help

I write for my own passion and don't look at view count or readers because it can be depressing. If people like it they will like it. I write for fun and to pass time now that I'm staying sick at home with my dog.
You should ask yourself: Do you write to attract readers if so write a genre they love.
I write the genres I love.
