Probably not. Despite Solo Levelling being extremely popular, how many channels got popular because of the novel version? I mean, without using art from webtoon, or using only bare mininmum. And another question, how many channels retained that popularity?
Channels that are build on trends die with the trends if they don't move on.
They're right behind you, salivating down your neck. White, hot, and VISCOUS.
I don't think it is saliva.

I was thinking about this whole going home and listening to yt. Then I realized I would listen to an SH (or any other) unofficial podcast.

Even if it's short and weekly/bi-weekly/monthly when someone goes through random novels from the site. Thematically of course.

Like one week being about fantasy stuff, sci-fi, etc, and bringing some books that are either already completed, interesting, or new and promising.

Also, probably should be stated that no suggestions would be taken into consideration. Then it wouldn't become a place where people try to promote and nothing else. Dunno, just an idea.

it's sound good but as I'm a second English speaker my speaking skill is not the best and instead I was thinking of just summarizing each arc of the novel and talk about that.

I think reasonable suggestions should be at least noted because it will become a platform for promotion even if it isn't meant to be one, especially when many people start listening, it would have the side effect of promoting the novels that are shown. But I agree that nothing should be uploaded for the sake of promotion, it should be for the enjoyment of (insert your opinion). At the end of the day it is your decision but never forget causality or it probably won't end nice. The last part isn't a threat it is a advice that could have saved many humans if they knew, you would get presumably a shit storm or worst case scenario a call from a lawyer. I know I'm painting a bad picture here but I'm a straw nihilist and keeping the bad things in mind is more important then the good things sometimes.

Will you state your opinion on arcs/novel and maybe try to say something objective(criticism)about the novel.

Yep agree as it's kind of similar to unboxing channel where the first few video you can see their passion and that they actually enjoy doing it but as time go on it's just become a place where company sponsor their product and the creator just shilling it.

Yeah, I get you. Same reason I will never do anything with YT or Twitch.

I agree, it is a unfortunate fact that people lose interest and joy sometimes in things that they once loved.

My guess is that just this content isn't enough. It can make interesting spice for other videos though. Like, in reference to X anime this season or Y mainstream novel, here are some similar web novels.

That's really remind me of anime where before I really enjoy it but now am kinda sick of it only until recently where I start to make video (my main passion) about it that I start to liking it again.

I'll be open to it, but the main problem most of these channels face is copyright issues. Especially when moving to Kindle, and the youtube creator refuses to take down the story, resulting in amazon unlisting the book from KU. It's a serious problem that I've heard multiple times over the last few months. This is for if you're doing narration.

If you're doing latest series roundups or trending roundups reviews, then fair game.

I thought about it once, decided against it. Tried making 2 videos wasn't happy with, and so I kept that idea shelved.

But the idea itself sounds fun. If you do LN or Web Novels, then doing Novel or arc reviews is probably better than chapter by chapter.

People do tend to be less into it, cause well, there isn't much visual stuff going on. If the story has a manga, comic, anime, etc, you can put more image in to make it entertain for the general audience.

I say make 2~10 videos, after that decided if you want to keep it up or not.

If you want to start make theorys or make critics you could take inspiration from the YouTuber below.
https://www.youtube.com/@TheCloserLook
(I know the last one has a more special flavor to his content)
Alright will do and Thanks alot. I watch TheCriticalDrinker before and indeed his video do have some spice to it that is very hard to replicate.
Your prayers have been answered, everyone! check out AgroSquerrilNarrates aka ASN he narrates content from Royal Road and r/HFY I have not ever heard him read anything that was exclusively from SH but some of the things he reads are on both RR and SH. He only reads books by others and does not write his own.
Go check him and his other channels out:

Ohh that is also an issue in itself but as you mention I was thinking of doing a each arc/volume reviews instead of narrating chapter by chapter.
You're welcome to make a video review of my one-star fanfic ?
Haha Will do when I have the time.

Ohh Alright thanks for the input. I agree that people tend to be less into video that is not visually appealing now a days (me included) but I will try to incorporate fan art or any other visual to make it more interesting. I was thinking of just making a fews video and see if I can keep up with it too.
