notes of a doctor:
Day 5: it's been 5 days since the patient 001 had been under our care and this is easily the most peculiar patient I'd ever seen. It fosters a parasitic relationship with a worm eating it's brain and has formed an attachment to the worm. But that aside, the pregnancy of this patient had befuddled us because what grown in it's womb is absurd. Nothing that the world has ever seen.
Day 8: Treating patient 001 had been increasingly difficult. 001 does cooperate with the treatments and maintains a shred of normalcy but they are unlike the world has ever seen. It's no wonder they are a bit unhinged cause let's face it, they have like a seventh of their brain eaten, but it's worth noting that they can polymorph to suit the best maternal needs for their children.
Day 9: I was told something concerning today, while eating breakfast, patient 001 casually let it slip today that the worm has crawled out of the ears and left months ago. This is quite an appalling discovery to know that there's possibly a brain eating parasite actively searching for it's next host mother. This situation is quite apocalyptic as we have no knowledge of this worm and it's effects on the environment. It could be quite an invasive species that'd plague the world.
Day 11: We have moved the patient 001 in a high risk containment ward. We suspect 001 still hasn't recovered from the worm and fear they probably never will. The alien baby nurturing inside them is growing up quite well. We sincerely hope it'd not be another worrying species.
Day 15: Another day of wondering why the government is so lax... I mean there's an alien baby here and a invasive brain eating worm on loose.
Day 16: wondering if I should stop paying my taxes and do tax evasion. That aside, the mother and child are healthy
