I just finished DAL s5, it gave me inspiration on writing a romance story but mixed with horror—and while thinking about that, a sudden thought passed through my mind, the *title*.

An exorcist that exterminate ghosts, but instead of using normal means like chants or talismans, he does it by f*cking them because he has abundance of Yang energy(cause you know ghost is made out of Yin energy).

But this idea has probably been made by someone, right? If so, I need their titles for pure research.

Ghost: "I'm going to turn your inside out!"
Exorcist:"Yeah baby!"
Ghost:"What's this? What's this white stuff! NooOOooOOO!"

There's a manga based on this but I forgot the title

Most smut stories are horror stories that ignore how horrific their aspects are, rape is something scary and many smut stories romantize it.

Isn't rape content not allowed on this site?

@xuduxixi it's "Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san"
It is the first thing I thought of seeing this thread lol

"When you gaze into the Abyss, the Abyss gazes back. But I didn't stop there—I kept staring at it for what felt like an eternity. Eventually, the Abyss seemed to shudder. 'Could you...not?' it asked awkwardly, as if embarrassed. 'At least take me out to lunch first before undressing me with your eyes.'

And that, kids, is how I met your mother."

Holy moly... May your soul rest in peace, ghost.

Erm, excuse me, but that's psychological horror ??

Hold up that's too fast, go back a few steps.

It's allowed, for sure. But of course, those who write too many rape scenes would get readers to feel disgust when reading them.

The depiction of rape is definitely allowed even if I currently find no specific example but even on Royal Road the depiction of rape is allowed.
Right you're just not supposed to "Glorify" it. Which I have no idea what that means.

It probably means that you shouldn't paint the act as good, cause it's not.

It means that if a reasonable audience could find your depiction equivalent or adjacent to endorsement of the act, you aren't supposed to write it.

This is easily circumventable by having 2 lines of inner monologue explaining that the character knows it's bad, OR by having some degree of mind control involved, OR by having the act done to someone who 'deserves' it done to them (which typically gets a pass because clearly any evil act is justified if it's towards someone you subjectively believe is bad and there is no nuance there no sir).

In practice this makes the rule functionally worthless against any writer that knows it exists but wants to glorify rape anyways.
