I've got some Queer stories I'm ready to share with people, but I'm new to online publishing. I've been on RoyalRoad for about a month, and I'm liking it, but that audience seems to want sexless video game stories, so I'm trying my hand at other websites! How does this one compare/work?

Thanks in advance for any pointers you feel like sharing. I'm also eager for feedback on my work. The first book I'll post here is 8 Ezekiel, a Queer, High Fantasy Adventure with some sex and romance sprinkled in. I hope you'll check it out. I'll be posting 1 chapter a day for the next few months.

Not sure how to create a signature with the link so here it is,

Most people agree that Scribble Hub is much more casual and beginner-friendly than RR. There's also less moderation and restrictions here (like the pretty infamous sexual content restrictions on RR), that's both a good and a bad thing. For queer stories, this is one of the best sites.

Yo, scribble hub has a lot of GL and BL romance books on the site compared to RR. Also if I had to recommend something then use a lot of tags to pull in your audiences, scribble hub has a generous amount of tags.

howdy! I'm down for some GL. I write some BL, but I'm not personally into reading it all that often (Very few people write the couplings and style of BL I enjoy, honestly). That said, welcome! I'm sure you'll find your stories right at home here. It's kind of the antithesis to RR, though not quite as far gone as, say, AO3.

Best of luck to you. You can do a lot here with BL or GL also gender bender is pretty popular, good number of authors use them.

I will say though, if you include a tag that doesn't affect the story until somewhere down the line then to explain that in the description. A lot of readers expect things to come into play sooner than you think. Other than that, don't take negative ratings or lack of comments personally. You'll find your audience.

I have a bunch of tags that haven't come into play in my draft yet, and I am up to chapter 82. Only like 36 are published for now, and I haven't heard a single complain about it.

I think it really depends what you're doing with the chapters that comes before, and how well you're keeping your readers engaged.

Welcome! Your stories will find a good home here. SH is very queer-friendly.

Meh, not my cup of tea, but welcome none the less
This, exactly. I'm more into reading (and writing) stories that include LGBTQ characters than stories that are about LGBTQ characters, if that makes sense, myself

I finally figured out how signatures work! I feel like a geriatric millennial
