Receiving comments can have its ups and downs. I'm personally a bit miffed cuz I'm soon to complete one year of writing on this website with scarce comments and followers. I can't say I relate to your situation but I can understand it.
Do you feel confident about the vision and/or direction of your story? Do you have an end goal for your work? If you don't, I would advise you to place your story on hold and brainstorm about where your story is going from the chapter you left off.
There is a saying, "No such thing as bad publicity." That is to say, even a negative comment is still a comment. It can encourage more feedback from other readers, and if their comment has some merit you could apply it to your work. For example, maybe they're pointing out a flaw or plot hole that you overlooked.
Of course, those comments are on a case by case basis. You'll likely see negative comments that are simplistic and to the point, saying "this book sucks" or something subjective that lacks context or supporting details for you to work with. For that, understand that you can write the perfect story with the perfect ratings and still find people who hate your work. Furthermore, people have different tastes and interests, some might just lose interest because of the direction the story took that they disagree with, and that's fine.
In summary, figure out where you want your story to go and how to end it. Take advantage of helpful criticism of your work, don't let hateful comments dissuade you from your work, and pace yourself. If you can't write for personal reasons, take some time off and post an update or comment to let your fans know what's going on.
