Hi, I'm Fisher. I'm new to Scribble Hub. I attempted to publish here before, but I couldn't figure out how to schedule chapters. Now that I have, I'm here to stay. I thought I would just introduce myself as a new writer to the platform. Anyway, I'm a military sci-fi writer, and I left Royal Road because of the flood of AI content and how it was choking out my story. I can't wait to start interacting for real on this platform

don't reply, just report and ignore.

if you reply, then the bot gets nuked, new-ish authors that replied gets splash damage and gets banned as well.

Don't expect much in the way of (genuine) comments on your story until it gets popular. Most of the readers here tend towards the silent type.

Pro tip:
When you post your first chapters, you will get a few comments from Bot spammers inviting you to discord, to sell you art.

Not just those inviting you to discord or any other platform. Anyone praising you too much is suspicious (a catch all phrase is "your story really moved me"), and anyone outright offering art or other services through DMs or comments is almost certainly a bot.

To catch bots, always check a user's activity tab before engaging. Bots will comment on a ton of different stories using the same script.

Most long term users, which is where your more dedicated fan base will pull from, have a policy of not latching onto stories that are below the 50 chapter mark. So don’t be too discouraged that your writing isnt getting a ton of traction in the early game. Ask your readers to like and review your stories so that you rise on the rankings for the various tags and genres your stories fall under. Star rating at 5.0 is suspicious but any star rating where the # of reviews is under ten is subject to scrutiny.

If you want eyeballs on your work then I suggest daily updates until chapter 50 then you can slow it down to 3-5 a week till 100 where you can see the number of readers and decide what you want your upload rate to be.

The story of a pirate is a prequel and is the story of how MC ended up in the Navy as a convict recruit, and From Criminal to Hero is about his years at the Naval Academy and growth from a criminal to a Naval officer.
