Yes, and she felt the same. The ironic thing is we didn't really realize our feelings for what they were at first. Both of us were inexperienced, and had a lot of stuff going on at the time. We only both confirmed those feelings later with each other. We're still together several years down the line. I will say that I believe there are two aspects to love; the feeling and the action. Love at first sight the feeling is possible, but if you don't confirm those feelings with acts of love in your everyday life, any love can die given enough time. Hardship happens to everyone, and that's where everything gets tested.
I believe any two fools can feel and fall in love instantly, but both have to choose to live it out no matter the difficulty, and that is rare.
One thing that doesn't always get mentioned, respect is super important. I not only love my partner, but respect her as an individual. That kind of mutual respect is essential to a long lasting relationship. Love as a feeling, doesn't always guarantee the respect.
