I know that its never going to happen that everyone is going to like everything a persons written, taht's a given. But I do find it strange that some people assume that everything you write is the same. I have two very different stories on here and someone who was clearly just looking for something to fap to slated all my writing because of a single shock scene.
Not only did they miss the point of the shock scene, they kinda missed the point of the whole story and got all the details mixed up suggesting that they didn't actually read all of it anyway.
I find it both irritating and amusing that they left a low score review of the story one day, then clearly came back and read more before editing the review and leaving more comments and slating all my writing. - it was clearly good enough to hook them back! they accused me of not writing tags properly too wich it annoyijng because they haven't posted any writing here so they clearly have no idea how it works AND who says that their way of tagging things is the only "correct" way anyway?
The irritating part about it is that (as I mentioned) the other piece on here is very different but it has been written off by them without the look (I believe) it deserves.
Yes some of my writing does deal with delicare issues like self harm, suicide and rape. BUT not all of it does and surely as writers it is our job to make people think is it not?
