Actually, I wonder where all these blobs originated from. They are the cutest and my most favourite emojis I have ever seen so far.

Are these NU and SH exclusive or does it exist elsewhere too?

I believe that @Tony got them by buying them from another site.

Blobs were emojis originally from some chat app, I think it was one from google or something.

As emojis started becoming more widespread and cross-platforming started evolving on chatting apps, the excessive expressiveness of blobs ended up actually causing trouble when users of different platforms ended up seeing different kinds of emojis that meant different things... Which ended up leading to the extinction of blobs in mainstream chat apps.

... Or at least that's what I remember from googling about them a few years back, I may have misremembered a bit.


In any case, there is a fair number of blobs that was just imported from the original app that had them.

Then there are also custom blob makers that made a ton of blobs.

Most of the blobs Tony uses came from this imgur album for one:

Then a few others were found by some NUF members that really loved blobs, and a few others were custom made by those same users.
... And a handful of them were custom made for SHF as well.

Oh yeah. I think I was looking over the list of all the emojis/blobs on here(forgot how to find the list) and it gave each emoticon a name and the code it is. There was a link or something below, and it just said provided by. Went to the link and saw the emoticons. I also saw that there were price tags, so I thought that the one here were bought.... or my mind may have forgotten a lot of things and I made up random stuff to come to that conclusion...

And yeah, I miss having those Blobs as the Google keyboard emoji default.
I think I still have that on one device since I don't update it.
