With Halo infinite being released I've come to the conclusion that I've been greatly missing that kinda super soldier focused sci-fi story recently not some commander leading space battles and sometimes hopping in a mech to lead the charge or anything political just a good ol alien killing Galaxy saving badass with some level of realism not some demi god lit rpg or anything

So any suggestions?

Well, I know one scifi story with a supersoldier. It isn't quite what you are describing though.

I've read a little bit of 40k years ago most of the Horus heresy if I remember correctly and while I enjoyed it I found the fan made content even better the emperors text to speech was honestly one the most entertaining things I've ever found on the internet

But despite all that it's not quite what I'm looking for 40k is just too hopeless and unending
