You live in a world where things like vampires, werewolves, mummies, zombies, witches, Frankenstein's monsters, etc are common animals found out in the woods while foxes, raccoons, skunks, deer, bears, bunnies, otters, martens, porcupines, beavers, etc are spooky mythical creatures of the night. Also, bees have taken over spiders' roles as the major "creepy crawly" of Halloween season.

September 30th. Time to trek down to Dollar Tree and buy more of the plastic bee skeletons that so freaked out the kids last year (especially the one hoping to be a biologist, who lectured us about exoskeletons and how they differ from skeletons for fifteen minutes - long enough for a real bee to be drawn to the sugar in his bag and give him the fright of his life...)

How does it work though? Does this mean the normal animals become horrendous or what?
