Excellent bookshelf contents. Also nice pictures, definitely worth 15$ of duct paper and spray paint. Had they been available, I would have bought them too!

Kind of. I almost don't like to call it heavily contextualized since there are very clear times you use it. It does convey more meaning than your standard tense though.

Watching this makes me realize how starved I've been for sapience. I need to get my ass to a university town and pick up a professor, or a grad student at least.

I use had a lot. Though I mainly use it in the correct context or in a way that is somewhat forgiving.
