For grammar, I recommend using QuillBot first, then DeepL. Keep in mind that DeepL likes to rewrite the stuff you have written, so keep an eye on it. ProWritingAid is also a good helper, but it hates words like "was" and asks you to rewrite sentences. Just copy and paste, say, Tolkien or Ursula, and see how low a score it gives them. If you're going to use these programs, don't chase the score; aim for fluency, clear understanding, and what makes sense (to you). Also do a "which" hunt.

I do think I improved as a writer by thinking of how to turn sentence to active form.

Keep in mind, using "was" or passive voice is not always bad. If it is good for Tolkien and other authors, then it is good for you.

Ok I wrote the prologue in first person present tense. I don't know if I am going to keep that up tho
