Just use grammarly. It's free and most people on this site use it.

Yeah everyone already uses grammarly. I even use gdocs for another layer of grammar correction.

I think free Grammarly does a pretty decent job. I also use MS Editor (gives you fewer prompts overall but sometimes gives an extra 1-2 after Grammarly is done).

Creating a grammar checker isn't easy at all either. It wouldn't be worth it for SH to make something like that.

People like feeling superior when they see bad grammar. If someone is serious about their story, they will take the effort to learn about grammar or track down an editor.
