I like that idea, but not a lot of people would have the time or the motivation to do that though. I feel a lot of people would rather not rate at all if the ratings are review-locked, but I could be wrong.

favories already exist for people who wants to show they like a story without saying anyting while ratings are the only one for dislikeing it so by removing it you force people to comunicate their dislike verbaly which eliminates the kinda confusion op felt and purges the lazy fucks with nothing substancial to say
