So yeah. My own story's about to reach the stage where the MC will have to do the nasty.

I am very interested in expanding my skills into smut. However, I have very little experience in the genre.

Yes, I watch porn like every other guy in the planet. Japanese stuff too — drawn, animated, and the stuff with blurred genitalia.

So I'm probably one of the few who really is doing this for research...

I would like some recommendations for smut novels on this site.

Specifics:

1. Good grammar is a must. I'm not too particular about it if I'm reading for fun, but this is research so I would like to avoid using my brain's auto-correct function.

2. Straight stuff only. No BL, No Futa-stuff, No furry stuff. GL is fine, as long as it's not the focus.

3. I don't actually give a shit about the plot. I already have it. I would like a focus on scenes.

4. MC doesn't have a micro penis. Nor does he have a horse cock. Just... maybe above average? At the very least, his whole personality shouldn't revolve around just being hung.

5. I'd like a level of realism on the woman's side. No, she will most likely not feel too good if you ram it in without foreplay and she wasn't turned on from the start. G-spots only exist in cringe fiction. People don't just sleep after doing the "nasty". This one's not all that important, but I'd like it to be semi-believable enough that I don't cringe at how different it is from real life.

6. No rape. Rape role-play is... okay. I understand that people who're into role-play get up to some pretty crazy stuff, so sure. Hit me with it.

7. Male POV only. Would be cool if the stories setting was set in a medieval fantasy world too — but it's okay if it isn't.

Sorry about being picky. I just have very little time to do this. I'd like to get the good stuff on first or second try.

From the top of my head, I can give you two stories, that are actually worth researching (that I know of) on here.
The first is Wisher Beware, something I found looking for actually good smut and turned out to be an even better story. This story is less a smut story and more an extremely well written story, that happens to have smut in it.
The Sex scenes are written very vivid, realistic and beautifully described. This novel set a standard for the Smut i read and most were found wanting in comparison.
Another Smut story I can recommend, which might be more practical and is written in first person is I Own a Brothel in Another World, which starts of as a relatively classical Isekai story, but later turns into a Harem Slice of Life, with building a Brothel and lot's of sex. Very enjoyable and thanks to lot's of different girls, very broad and many, many Sex scenes.

The kind of smut you're looking for is outside of my focus, but offhand I'd suggest you search AO3 when looking for very specific smut, as it's on average way better tagged than Scribblehub, and on average way better grammar than most sites I've seen in general.

It's also primarily fanfic, but if you don't care about plot that probably doesn't matter, but if you care a little just put the series as "Original Work"

I don't think I've seen any sites that tag oral sex specifically, sadly. You're probably best off commissioning someone who writes smut, TBH? Way easier to get the very specific thing you're looking for... if also significantly more expensive.

But I would suggest you list all of your various requirements, partially on the offchance I or someone else has seen something that might fit your interests well, but also, let's be honest, just because I'm curious.

No incest; no weird obsession with cum and its taste because honestly that just throws me out of it (realism-wise); no physical violence (though I believe tight ropes would be fine, as would biting); furry stuff is fine but the lack of control that comes with the 'in heat' trope is not; no pedophilia and the ensuing obsession with lolis; no mind control; no "it's entering my womb!" type-stuff; no insulting or degrading of someone's character or appearance; unless you decide to f*** beforehand, no drugs or alcohol; no NTR (sorry @Anon2023 ); I'm ok with a poor sex scene due to mental issues and immaturity being used for character development (there are some awkward sex scenes in great adult novels that, while they make me cringe, lead to good character growth or actually matter to the plot. Think "Children of Eros" and "The Fault in Our Stars"), those aren't what I'm looking for in smut, so no mental issues leading to poor choices; pregnancy/ballooning fetish; making me worry for the one or both of the individuals doing the do's physical safety.

You might wanna look for sex scenes in older romance novels? No guarantee on no oral, but often less of a focus, and you can often tell from the premise if it's gonna be domination focused.

There's usually quite a bit of story, and I don't think I've seen the rest of the stuff you object to much in older romance novels as a whole (although that doesn't mean they're not there on occasion).

Plot doesn't matter in my particular case since I just want inspiration and references on how to write the sex part. The events leading up to the situation where my MC has sex have already been worked out in my head.
