Writing God as a protagonist?

So umm I've been thinking about writing a novel with a god as a protagonist and I really need some tips or idea on what the gods do because just managing worlds, balance and order seems boring

Well i have a tip although I do not know if it will help.

If your making a god protagonist it would be much better if you focus on the aspect of the protagonist being a entity shrouded in mystery. It's also a recommended to give a pperspective to the characters that the protagonist have affected(it can be through direct or indirect actions)

You can try to create a god who is powerful but has restrictions, whether he is in a hitogami like state, a god who trusts the divinity of people but is arrogant and hates everyone but himself, or a person who was worshiped by many human beings, and became a god but aspired to become a demon king or any other kind of concept
