Getting Sick and Tired of Youtube's Adblock War

I used to be one who would use adblock on youtube when searching or finding specific videos (usually music), and use it regularly for updating content creators. The war on ads has gotten so bad that YT has decided to throw ads inside of paused videos, and latley they have been blocking the ability to load/render videos entirely for any browser that uses an adblock (after 3 uses). At this point it only encourages me to use adblock full-time. They had better ways to get paid long before they kept ignoring the needs of the smaller creators and they blew it, so I don't feel bad. Guess I just wanted to share? Idk.

I was neutral until today, so praise be to NewPipe.

this. i havent seen an ad on youtube in god knows how long with my adblockers. never had youtube not work because of them either.

Ad block is owned by Google. You-tube is owned by google. They are playing you. Don't use an ad blocker owned by google.

Perhaps it has to do with the specific adblocker I use, based on the testimony here. I must be using one YT can track.

I dont know, maybe in the U.S there are more Ads.
I haven't used Adblock for a year now and i just have skipped ads in the beginning and one in the middle if it is 30minutes video.
music play lists an YouTube premium quick add-in 3 in 3 hours or something like this.

But I understand that can be bad.

Ha ha it’s 18 now. I cancelled my subscription because of that.

They experimented with that before. IDK. Just wondered why I'm getting this result with Ublock while everyone else says they use Ublock with no issue. Wonder what the flag is for it.

I think its the period where youtube tried to indeed "do a war vs adblockers"
Now adblock(ublock) won. Temporarily, hopefully forever.

I activated JPyoutube (not even sure of my manipulations-forgot, most likely only needed to change option to country:JP) and not having any troubles and better recommendations.

I don't really use adblock and just reload the page if I get an unskippable one, granted I don't really have a premium coz I'm Cinderella.
Serious question tho, are Ads really that bad or is this just a US thing?
