Geniuses, talents, prodigies, and etc(just a rant)

In my opinion,

Most talented, gifted, prodigies, geniuses in Novel is simply written since the author didn't really know how to make a character interesting without making them more powerful than average.

They're kinda lacking material for writing interesting and challenging opponent.

Most of the achievement of those supposedly genius, talented, etc. Isn't really that good. It feels like those were simply what those average soldied or professional guard were supposed to be.

And their personalities, doesn't really reflect genius at all. There's rarely any trace of intelligence in their conversation or actions. They're just some eccentric with fast learning ability at most.

Well, that's my rant.

I believe geniuses and talents do exist in the traditional sense yes, but honestly people that are driven by passion tend to be more successful in my mind.

Genius and talent can be cultivated some might have a head but you can always catch up even if you are a bit behind.

A passionate drive allows you to shoot for the stars and keep on going someone that has innate talent or is considered to be a genius can only go so far without needing to try.

And if they do try the person that isn't as inherently talented just needs to try harder.

Hardwork and dedication will win out in the end.
