I find this is more common with Japanese girls love novels, go to novel updates and a good chunk of novels tagged yuri will be harem. Harassing thief girl is kinda confusing since the original or even the translation is all over the place like one second the MC was a pervert someone and the next they become a Loli but like how do I even explain it, it's like you got suddenly thrown in and immediately filled with information dumps
